Anne DeMasi began her industrial career in the laboratories of Rohm and Haas Company where she spent 12 years as an Analytical Research Group Leader and Senior Research Scientist in the Industrial Coatings Research Department. She transitioned into Hazard Communication and has never looked back. She was the Global Hazard Communication Manager at Chemtura and LANXESS for several years and is currently the Global Regulatory Manager at Rio Tinto Lithium. In this role, she is responsible for overall regulatory compliance including GHS requirements in every country where such regulations exist. She spent many years assisting companies in their efforts to automate SDS and label creation. She is presently active on the SCHC Exhibits Committee. She was previously chair of the Program Committee and continues to serve as a member.
